significant difference to the lives of those experiencing the effects of homelessness. Debra is the 
Executive Director of Marketing at South Coast Plaza, the largest shopping center on the West 
Coast. Famous as the destination venue for local residents and international travelers alike, South 
Coast Plaza is also revered in Orange County as a source of support for those less fortunate – 
thanks to Debra Gunn Downing’s stewardship. Debra ensured that South Coast Plaza has a strong 
philanthropic presence in Orange County by carefully oversees South Coast Plaza’s generosity to 
numerous worthy causes throughout
Orange County.
